About the Author

Devirah Greenfield, MSSAS

Devirah Greenfield is a well-known principal and educator with over twenty-five years of experience guiding young adults toward their potential. For twenty-one years she worked closely with her mentor, Rebbetzin Shelia Feinstein, a"h, eventually succeeding her as principal of Shaare Torah Girls Elementary School.

Her work is rooted in a single conviction: every young person carries a piece of Hashem within them, and the role of the adults in their life is to mirror that truth with patience, honesty, and modeled middos. Devirah believes children grow best not through lectures, but through observing, absorbing, and processing the world around them.

Growing Up is the culmination of that philosophy, a workbook that weaves stories of Rebbetzin Feinstein together with Torah teachings and reflective Quest Questions. It is written under the guidance of the Rosh Hayeshivah, Harav Reuven Feinstein, shlita, as a zechus for Rebbetzin Chava Sara bas Avraham Halevy, a"h.

“This book is all about self-actualization. It is about creating yourself from the inside out, and creating a safe space for yourself and the people in your life.”
